Last month I, along with my hometown friends Shirrelle McCray and Candice Johnson, participated in the “Run For Justice” campaign that took place at Runyon Canyon.  Living in LA for more than 4 years, I have never seen a large group of young African Americans come together with so much purpose and passion for change.  The experience is one that I will never forget.  Fortunately, it’s one that was also documented by the Los Angeles Sentinel.  My friends and I were quoted in The New Movement article which you can read here.  Hopefully this article and other peaceful campaigns will continue the conversation about black lives in America.  ….love and light to you all.
