Many of my close friends know that I love the blues and I tend to play it quite often. Just to give you an example, artists like Bobby “Blue” Bland, Johnnie Taylor, and Little Milton blasted on my grandfather’s stereo every weekend when I was growing up and even at family gatherings. Matter of fact, when I went back home this past Thanksgiving my family introduced me to this young guy named Jwonn who was singing about this woman who cheated on him with several different men. (That’s the blues for you. lol) Ultimately, I really liked the song and how passionately Jwonn sang it. So I wanted to make Jwonn the talent spolight for this week. Keep doing your thing young brother.
